Later in January, Laura and Kent did a puzzle, Megan had some student council activities, I made buttermilk pie, Nate helped Megan with her homework, Nate and I went to a Jazz game, Megan and Samara went hiking and sledding at Horse Tail Falls, Megan worked hard practicing her cello, the girls and I visited Lia's friend Sarah who had just started her cancer treatment, and Laura went to the Preference Dance with her friend Matt. She looked so pretty! Nate and I went over to Matt's house for the pick up and then went to dinner with his parents, which was really fun. They all came over to our house after the dance for a soda bar and to play games. 

 

Caaguazu

Lia got transferred in January to a new city with a new companion. Her new area was called Caaguazu and her new companion was Hermana Rencher. They were fast friends and obviously liked to take a lot of pictures.

In January, Josh was ordained a Priest. My Dad and Dana and Janet and Kent came. It was a good day! Megan also got her braces off and she looks great! And we went to a play and hung out with Ollie. Next we went up to Logan for the weekend to go skiing with Katie and Scott and Ryan and Heather and our families. It was freezing, but really fun! We went to dinner the night before with Kathie and Mike and Katie and Scott made lunch for us on the mountain. Lastly, Nate and I went to a Jazz game and Megan and Lucy had fun at Janet and Kent's.
