Baby Austin and Sleeping Kids

Every Monday we get to watch my cute nephew Austin. The kids LOVE having him here, especially Megan. She calls him "Baby Ausin." They are all great helpers with him and he is a sweet little baby!

I do try to have the kids sleep in their own beds most of the time, but sometimes it just doesn't happen.

The Train Show

Josh went to the Train Show at Thanksgiving Point a while back with Nate and Grandpa Nelson. He loves Trains!

Sledding and Skiing

Nate took the kids sledding on their day off of school. They had fun even though there wasn't much snow.

And a couple months ago Nate and I took Lia, Laura and Josh skiing. Lia had been before, but Laura and Josh hadn't and I hadn't been in over 10 years. Our first run down was a little rough, but the kids took off after that! We didn't see Lia most of the afternoon, she would go down faster than the rest of us and get back on the lift and go down again. We all had a great time and I can't wait to do it again next season!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Nate took the girls to a Daddy Daughter Dance at their school a few weeks ago. Lia and Laura were looking forward to it all week. They decided what to wear, what jewelry to wear, and how to do their hair days before. They both looked so pretty, and so grown up. Nate got them both corsages, which they loved, we took some pictures, and they were off!






They had a great time with their dad and with their friends. All night while they were gone I kept thinking about how grateful I am to have a good husband who is also a good dad. I'm always grateful for that, but on this night I was particularly grateful as I watched my daughters' faces as they were getting ready to go. Thank you Nate for taking such great care of us!
