Laura's First General Conference

After Lia turned eight, Nate took her to a session of general conference. He did the same with Laura last fall. She was excited and they had a great time together!

Mission Reunion

On conference weekend we went to a mission reunion for Nate with both of his mission presidents, President Shepherd and President Silva. It was great to see them and some old friends.

Misc. Pictures from the Fall

Making mini pizzas, meeting their new cousin Isaac, and Josh making gas sounds with his armpit.

Josh and Megan

Josh and Megan are always friends, but occasionally they are too cute for words together. This was one of those times. They wanted to have a sleepover in Josh's room and ended up both falling asleep in Josh's bed. When they first started playing I heard Megan say, "Are you playing house with me?" and, "Mom! Josh is playing house with me!" They were so sweet together.

Field Trips

I got to go to the Big Red Barn with Megan for a field trip and to the Hogle Zoo with Josh for a field trip. They were so cute and it was fun to be with them!

Megan and her friends Caleb and Summer in the apple orchard.
Megan and Summer were a little tired on our way home...

It was a cold, rainy day at the zoo, but we had a good time anyway.

Mirror Lake Continued

Mirror Lake

On Labor Day we drove up to Mirror Lake to go canoeing and fishing. It's a little bit of a drive up there, but it was so pretty and we had a great day!

BYU Tailgait Party

Nate helped organize a tailgait party with his friends from the MBA program for the BYU-Texas game. He has a great time with these guys! Going back to school was one of the best decisions we've ever made--for many reasons, including things like this.

Playing Outside

My mom and dad finished their backyard in their new house and my kids love playing back there with their cousins.

Josh planted a sunflower in the yard and it got huge! When the flower finally fell off and dried out, the kids pulled out all the seeds so they could eat them.

Josh

The new school year brought some big changes for Josh. A full day of school really wears him out! We ran some errands after school one day and he was so tired he couldn't even make it home. We also found out he needs glasses. He picked out two pairs and was really excited about them at first. That excitement soon wore off and he started asking when he could get contacts. But, for the most part, he's been really great about wearing them. And, he had his first late night with our neighbors Caleb and Spencer. Josh loves playing with his friends!
