Picking out our Christmas Tree

We decided to go to a tree farm in Alpine this year to pick out a Christmas tree.We went at the beginning of November to pick it out and tag it. It was really fun and the kids were so excited!

Halloween

This Halloween we started a couple new traditions: Lia went trick-or-treating with her friend Jane and the kids decided they wanted to take pillowcases instead of their plastic pumpkins. They are getting older and I'm not sure how I feel about it! They were really cute though and had a lot of fun.

National Scouting Museum

Nate started traveling with his new job at the end of the summer and hit several cities before Thanksgiving. One of the places he visited while he was gone was the National Scouting Museum in Texas.

More in the Fall

I got to go on a couple of field trips with Megan to the pumpkin patch and to a play.

 The girls got invited to a witch's tea at the Gibson's house.

 The kids got their faces painted at the school carnival.

Laura was in a dance performance arranged by one of the young women.            

 And Megan found more things for me to take a picture of her doing.

Fall Activities

Thanksgiving Point

We spent a family night at the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point before the season ended. Everything was very pretty and the kids were really cute. Afterward we stopped for dinner at Firehouse Subs.
