Kennedy Space Center--Part 2

Kennedy Space Center

Our second day in Florida we went to the Kennedy Space Center with Ryan and Heather. I went there when I was about Lia's age with my family, but Nate had never been there and was really excited, so were the kids.

Air Boat Ride and Cocoa Beach

The first thing we did there was go on an air boat ride. It was awesome! Ryan had to work and the boys were in school, but Heather came with us. We saw tons of alligators and different kinds of birds and when we were done, we got to feed an alligator. We also went to the beach that day. It was a beautiful day and we wished we could have spent more time there.

Orlando Here We Come!

In April we went to Florida to see Ryan and Heather and their family and go to Disneyworld. The kids were so excited! It was the first time Lia, Laura and Megan could remember being on an airplane. Josh, on the other hand, was quick to give advice on what to do when you fly since he's an old pro after flying with Nate once last year. Megan was a little nervous, but after our first flight she said, "I'm fine landing off now that I've been on a plane before." Our second flight was delayed, so we got to Orlando really late, but the kids were great and were so excited to be there!
