Christmas Break

Over Christmas break, Josh played with his new microscope (he loves that kind of stuff), the kids played games every night before bed, we hung out with the Nelson cousins, Lia went to her first stake dance (she was so excited and looked so cute), we had a family party with Kent's family, we took down the wreath Lia and her friend Alexa made (after enjoying it all season), and we went to a party on New Year's Eve at Cam and Sarah's. We had a great time together over the break and I'm always sad when it comes to an end. 

Christmas 2017

We started our Christmas traditions with our "Christmas Eve" dinner which normally happens a few days before Christmas. The real Christmas Even fell on a Sunday so we went to church and then had my Mom and Steve over for lunch before we opened the kids' new pajamas and headed to the Nelson's. After dinner at Nelson's we went to see the windows and gingerbread houses at the Grand America. We then headed home to get kids to bed so Santa could come. It snowed a lot that night leaving a magical world outside. On Christmas morning, we opened presents and had my Dad and Dana over for breakfast. We then went to dinner at my Mom and Steve's and ended the night at the Nelson's. It was such a nice few days! I loved the time we spent with each other and with our families. It was definitely one of my favorite Christmases! 

Games, Ice Skating and More Parties

We kicked off Christmas break with Josh and Nate going to a BYU basketball game with Vince and Austin, going ice skating with the Nelsons, and having the Spendlove family Christmas party.
