Jazz Games

We love the Utah Jazz around here and when they made the playoffs last year we were more than excited! We made a party out of all the playoff games. We tried making it on the post game twitter feed (which is why we took the pictures of everyone cheering), but we never made it. We also wrote the names of our friends with cancer on our hands for the "Five for the Fight" campaign that the Jazz are doing (you write the name of someone you care about that's fighting cancer on your hand, take a picture, and then donate $5 do the fight against cancer). The Jazz were ultimately eliminated from the playoffs, but it was a fun spring watching them play!

More in April

In April, Lia played in the orchestra pit for Mt. Ridge's production of Beauty and the Beast (she played the violin and the Marimba and did great), Lia made the honor roll again, Megan planned a party with her friend Hannah, Nate went on a scout campout to the sand dunes, and we spent a Sunday afternoon at Nelson's that included a drive to the state capital to see the apple blossoms (Lia drove and it was her first time on the freeway--she did great) and a fudge making demonstration from Grandma.

Justin Timberlake Concert

Lia and I got invited to the Justin Timberlake concert with our friends Camilla and Hillary. They have a connection at the arena so we had dinner before and great seats for the concert. I thought I knew more of his songs than I actually did, but the concert was great and we had a lot of fun!

More From St. George

On our last day in St. George, the boys went for one bike ride and the moms took the kids on a hike. It was a great weekend and I'm glad we got to go together!

Spring Break Continued

On our second day in St. George, we went swimming, Brian took Lia and Laura and little Brian to the temple to do baptisms, we played at the park, some of us did some more mountain biking, we had a lip sync contest (ours was the song from "Moana" and Josh was Moana), we hung out at the condo, and we searched for frogs and lizards.
