Nelson Family Reunion

We started the Nelson family reunion at the Ute Stampede in Nephi. Janet is from Nephi and she LOVES the Ute Stampede! It was so much fun! I wish we could do it every year. The kids loved the rides, the rodeo, and being with their cousins. 

Josh's Birthday

Josh turned 11 in July. For his birthday it was all about cars: books about cars, test driving a Telsa with Nate (which he had been dying to do for months), and driving traxxas remote control cars with his friends. Josh loves engines and motors and figuring out how they work. He's maybe just a little bit obsessed with Tesla cars and keeps asking Nate when we can buy one. He's always saying, "if we had a Tesla..." The guys at the dealership were so impressed with him when they went in for their test drive that they told him he has a job when he's old enough to drive. I think he knew more than they did about the cars they were selling. Josh also loves reading about and watching you tube videos about cars. And, he loves driving his Traxxas remote control car. When I asked him what he wanted to do with his friends for his birthday, he said he wanted to go to a place where you can drive remote control cars. They had a great time there and I loved watching Josh with his friends. He is the life of the party and a born leader. We love Josh! He is smart, funny, sensitive, and a lot of fun to be around. He is full of one-liners that keep us laughing. He has a great memory and can figure just about anything out. He is my go-to man for a lot of things. I can't wait to see all the great things he's gong to accomplish in his life. And at the same time, I don't want him getting any older! 

The 4th of July

I love the 4th of July! I love the Millcreek Parade and spending the day at the Nelson's and I love the evening spent at BYU with my family. It is one of my favorite days of the year!
