More in July

In July, Josh got the wetsuit he ordered in the mail and has wanted FOREVER, Megan played with Hannah and her cousins Lucy and Nora, we went bowling with the Nelson cousins, we gathered flowers from our yard, Megan practiced her splits and took some bubble baths, we watched Katie and Scott's kids, we went to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point, and we had our first painting class (I had intended to do a few different mediums--starting with oil painting, but we ran out of summer) which ended up being really fun and I was so impressed with how well the kids did!

Nelson Family Reunion Continued

On our second day of the reunion we went to Palisades Reservoir and spent the day. Darren and Sarah brought their giant flamingo and we brought our paddle board and fishing poles. It was such a fun day! When we got back to the house that night, we watched a movie and shared family stories. The day we went home, Lia and Nate went on a bike ride, Josh and the boys shot Josh's new BB gun, Josh went fishing some more and we stopped for lunch on our way out of town. We had a great time together and it made me so grateful once again for our extended family!
