February

February brought life with a dog, skiing, Jazz games, mission prep, playing with play dough, a cute picture of Megan, and I finished putting together the shadow box Nate got for me for Christmas of our trip to Chicago.

Denver

Megan got to take a trip to Denver with Nate in February. They went because Megan had been dying to take a trip with him and there was a Jazz game in Denver. The weather was terrible and it was a quick trip, but they had a good time together. Megan got Donovan Mitchell's autograph after waiting outside their hotel in the cold, which she was super excited about! She was also excited about the treat she got at the game. I love Megan's enthusiasm for life, the Jazz and her Dad!

End of January

At the end of January, we found out that Nate's book that he'd been working on for a few years was going to be published! It's a book about the Aaronic Priesthood called "Upon You My Fellow Servants" and was going to be published by a local publishing company called Cedar Fort Publishing. Nate got the message while he was out of town and called me. We were so excited!! It had been a long process of ideas, writing, re-writing, editing, submitting, and re-submitting. I was so excited and proud of Nate! We made him a cake to celebrate.

Also at the end of January, we played a lot with Ollie and I tried to not lose my cool (unsuccessfully most of the time) every time he had an accident. It's a good thing he is cute because there were a lot of accidents! I felt like I had just had a baby again. All our cousins wanted come over and see the new puppy.

Ollie

Later in January we got to bring Ollie home. We went to dinner first to celebrate getting a dog and then drove to the breeder's house. The kids were so, so excited! They couldn't get enough of him. He was so cute wandering around the house. I was a little nervous (or a lot nervous), but it was so fun watching the kids and how excited they were.
