Over Labor Day weekend we got invited to the Elmer's cabin. We had a great weekend with them! We brought my dad's side by side, rented another one, and brought our dirt bikes so we could all go on a ride together. Unfortunately Nate crashed on his bike trying to help Megan and hurt his hand and leg and ended up in the ER that night. But, it was still a fun weekend and we were glad we got to go. We also had another mountain bike race for Josh and Megan at the beginning of September. Watching them cheer for each other made my whole year and made all the practices and long drives to the races totally worth it! It was Megan's last race and because she missed the previous one, she started at the very back and worked her way up to the front. We were so proud of her, including Josh, which meant more to me than anything. We don't care where they finish, we just want them to push themselves and work hard, which they always do. I am so grateful for all the good that mountain biking has done for us, but especially for what it has done for Josh and Megan's relationship. And lastly, we picked a lot of peaches from our tree, tried to keep Ollie out of rooms he's not supposed to be in, and the kids had a combined YM/YW activity at the temple.
