Other December Activities

Nate and I went up to Idaho to take care of some things for our cabin right before Christmas. It was so magical up there! Josh also had his Christmas guitar concert, he and Megan went to a murder mystery party at our neighbor's house, Megan helped with a Sub for Santa, we had our "Christmas Eve" dinner, and the kids opened their pajamas from Aunt Luann.

We missed Lia a lot during the holidays, but we were happy she was doing what she was doing!

 

Laura's Christmas Recital

Laura's Christmas recital was her last Christmas recital and because of that, she was a little emotional. She played beautifully! I have loved hearing her play her Christmas songs over the years and will miss watching her put so much time and effort into them and seeing the progress. It was a great night!

Also in December, my friends Jen, Jenn, and Tiffany and I went to dinner downtown and to the Christmas Markets at This is the Place State Park, Megan arranged for Chick-fil-A sandwiches to be donated to her school for their Christmas Sub for Santa fundraiser, Megan had a Christmas dance concert (she was so cute), Nate and the other Deacon leaders took the Deacons to lunch to celebrate their finishing the Book of Mormon, my Dad came over to give us our Christmas gift, and Nate and I went to his work Christmas Party.

In December, we had the Elmers over and Josh showed them how to play a driving game on his computer, Megan and Lucy messed around at Janet and Kent's house, we went skiing with Darren and his family, Megan and I went to a Jazz game, Laura had her Christmas recital with her students and her teacher Ashley came, Nate and the deacons made clay sculptures based on Book of Mormon stories, Nate took a picture of me reading to Josh at night, my sisters and I took my mom to lunch for her birthday, and we went to the live Nativity in Alpine with some of the Nelsons.
