May Happenings

We went for a spin in Nate's new golf cart from his office to dinner at the Riverwoods. The kids had been asking for months to go for a ride and we finally made it down to do it. We also visited the new children's museum at Thanksgiving Point and hung out with our friends from our old neighborhood.

Laura's Gymnastics Meet

Laura did gymnastics at the Legacy Center and loved it! At the end of the class they had a "meet." She is a great gymnast and is very graceful. I loved to see her do her pose at the end.

Megan's Preschool Graduation

Megan went to Mother Goose Preschool. She loved it! They did a lot of cute things, including graduation. It was fun to see her sing and do the actions to all the songs. She did great until the end when she had some serious tears over the color of the balloon she got--she wanted pink and got yellow instead. Oh life is hard for a 4 year old!

May

Lia and Laura dressed Megan up like Elsa from Frozen.
I don't remember what was happening in this picture, but I love it!
I got to go to a Mother's Day program in Laura's class. She was chosen to read a poem she wrote for me, it was very sweet.
Lia loves her fedora and sunglasses and looks very cute in them. She also loves taking selfies...
This is how Josh ends most of his showers these days...
We did a little project in the yard that the kids helped with.
The kids continue to build more things with their favorite blocks.
Lia finished her Spring season with Tsunami.

Laura's 9th Birthday

We celebrated Laura's 9th birthday this year with an ice cream party. Laura and I made the invitations and Lia and Laura decorated. It was a fun party! Laura is so much fun. She is full of energy and is always wanting to build a fort, play a game, or have a family movie night. On Sundays when we are going to grandma's house, she likes to pick some kind of theme and then dress up that way, like an explorer or an artist. She loves to play soccer and it doing really well on the piano. Laura always has friends knocking on the door and is very social, but she is also very protective of family time. I love the cute notes she writes me and the way she helps me and plays with Josh and Lia and Megan. We are so grateful for Laura and love her very much!

Megan's Dance Recital

Megan had her first dance recital in May. She was so cute and it was so fun to watch her! And what made it even better was that it was a father-daughter dance and Nate got to do it with her.

Hope of America Concert

Lia participated in the Hope of America Concert with her school in April. She was so excited about it! The music was great and she looked so cute! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of just her, but she was in blue.
