Lake Tahoe Continued

Our next couple days in Lake Tahoe we floated the river, went to dinner at a great place on the water, Laura and Megan and I went horseback riding while Nate and Lia and Josh went mountain biking, and we found a fun place for ice cream!

 

 

 

Lake Tahoe

At the end of July we went on a trip to Lake Tahoe. I've always wanted to go there and it was a perfect Covid destination--driveable and open to visitors. We had a great time! Megan and I hunted for giant pine cones while the rest of the family mountain biked. And then we hiked down to Emerald Bay where we had a picnic and played in the water. Nate was a trooper for carrying the paddle board all the way down and back up again. Lake Tahoe is beautiful and I loved every minute of it!

Other Activities in July

We celebrated Josh and Lucy's birthdays with the Nelsons, we went downtown with the Cowleys, Lia and Laura did "Drop and Shop" for the kids in the neighborhood again, we finished our remodel (Yay!), Megan played with her friend Samara, and unfortunately Megan broke her arm playing at the park with Samara. She was so sad--especially because we were about to leave on our family trip to Lake Tahoe.
