Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend! We started it off with a ride on the Polar Express (also known as The Heber Valley Railroad). I don't know when I've seen the girls so excited! We went with all of Nate's family which Lia and Laura were thrilled about because that meant they got to go with their cousins Chloe and Sophie. We had a great time! That was followed by dinner at my mom and dad's house on Thursday where my mom made all the kids headbands with their Indian name on it. Thanks mom, that was so cute! We then spent the rest of the night and most of the weekend with Nate's family. Nate's grandfather passed away Wednesday morning following a stroke. We will miss him, but I am so grateful for the life he lived and that he's able to be with those he loves that have already passed on. I appreciate Nate's family so much, along with my own family. We love to be with both our families and are grateful for all they do for us.

Lia wanted to hold her ticket on the way there.

Josh wasn't so sure about wearing the headband.

Nate's grandpa and grandma with Lia when she was a baby.
And thanks to Nate's jury duty getting canceled, he got to stay home and play in the snow with the girls. They were thrilled!

It's a little ironic that Josh's indian name is "patient" when he doesn't look to patient with that headband. Sounds like you had a fun weekend, I want to try the Polar Express ride one of these years.

So much fun!!! I love that they wear their P.J.'s. We just watched the Polar Express the other day on T.V. That is awesome that The Heber Valley Railroad does that.

I bet the Polar Express is a memory your little ones will remember for forever!

The Polor Express looks like such a blast and your kids look darling as always. We should definitely do that with our family next year.
