I thought these pictures were kind of funny. Nate took the kids to the grocery store for me one night when I was feeling pretty lousy (lousy enough to let Laura go to the store in a cheerleading outfit and snow boots). It was a treat for them because they got to be with dad, had dinner there, and got a "driver cart" for Josh and two little carts for the girls. I have since tried this and it's actually not as chaotic as I thought it would be, but Dad is definitely a better sport about those kinds of things. Speaking of dad, Nate was so great those few days when I was sick. He took care of everything and let me stay in bed until I was able to function again. Thanks Nate!!

I love these pictures Kara. They are just so "real-life." Just getting them out the door in something when your sick is a good thing. Nate is quite the good sport.
Cute pictures! I personally really like the cheerleading outfit and the snow boots! =) Very stylish! You are both such great parents.
Good job Nate. I'm impressed that he thought about taking pictures. Why is a trip to the store with Dad so much more exciting than a trip to the store with mom?
p.s. your kids are so cute!
I love the little kid size grocery carts!! Our stores don't have those! Good for Nate for taking care of the kids AND the shopping. Double points!
You guys are such a cute lil fam. When you feel like crap, the kids clothes are definately the last thing you care about. Charlie has been in t-shirts and prison shorts for a week. :)
I absolutely love that an everyday outing with you is a full on field trip with dad! :) So fun! I love that there are pictures of it too! :) Good work Nate!
Kara i totally love these. I love looking at your blog beacuse it always makes me smile. You have such a cute family, i love it! I hope you are feeling better. Im so sorry!
I love the cheerleading outfit with snowboots. Yea for Nate and helping out. Maybe he could play the panio for you to relax you. I hope you are feeling better.
I love these pictures.... So real! I am glad Nate gave you a break! He is great! Your kids crack me up, I just love them!
Kara...what a cute blog. I love the pictures of the kids with Nate (what a good husband)! I have to laugh because I let Austin push one of those little carts at the store today and it didn't go so well but he sure looked cute doing it.
OH, this made me laugh, especially the part about the cheerleading outfit w/ snow boots. Mom's can so relate to that moment when you are feelin so sick that it just doesn't matter!
