The girls have decided they are HUGE Ute fans (even without a lot of encouragement from their dad). They were so excited to go to their first basketball game and wear their new shirts. Because Nate and I both graduated from "The U," we like their enthusiasm, but I'm not sure I'm thrilled about their new-found hatred for BYU. I can't tell you how many times I've told them, "I don't want to hear 'BYU stinks like poo' anymore!"
This was my attempt at taking a picture of all three of them. They were so good during the whole game, but at this point they didn't want to hold still anymore.

Your kids look darling in red! Sometimes BYU does stink like poo, like when Max Hall can't throw a complete pass to save his life! JK, I love BYU. And I think it is hillarious that your girls are sooooo opinionated about it! Cute!!!!
BYU stinks like poo?!
I'm sorry, but I don't think Katelee can play at your house anymore. We can't have her learning things like THAT! =)
They look darling in their shirts. I think it's so funny how they pick up on things like that. We've had to talk to our kids about how everyone can choose which team they like and they will still be our friends if the like "The U"! I still remember the first time Eric realized that one of our neighbors liked Utah. You would have thought we had the devil living next to us! Silly kids. Hopefully they'll learn to appreciate the fun in the rivalry someday! Yay for college sports!
Tell your girls that we are sorry for the loss tonight! hehehe! : ) Aren't kids funny. I wish I could say that my boys hated the U without much encouragement from their dad, but we both know that is not true! But we love you guys!
that is so fun, my girls are ute fans too, but they still just call them the red team! My neice gets them confussed though telling them BYU is the greatest! That is so cute!!!
Ty will be so proud when I tell him...
I finally got my girls to say "BYU is a good team, but we like Utah better" instead of "BYU smells like poo". Their dad still encourages the poo song! Your kids sure do look adorable in RED!!!
