Josh's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated our cute Josh's birthday a couple weeks ago. We let him open a present the night before--fireman pajamas. His old ones had gotten too small. He asked for them almost every night, so I thought it was time to get him some new ones.

We went swimming in the morning and then took him to see Toy Story 3. Whenever we drive by the movie theater at Thanksgiving Point he asks when we can go see a movie. What better time than his birthday? He didn't move a muscle through the whole movie (at least I don't think so, he insisted on sitting in front of us by Nate's mom and dad). He ate his popcorn and giggled at the movie.
He couldn't wait to have his birthday cake! He waited through Lia, Laura and Nate's birthdays and now it was finally time for him to blow out the candles on his own cake.
One of his presents was a lawn mower. The three dollar one we bought him a couple years ago finally made its way to the garbage, so he was really excited to get another one. Josh is so much fun. I love the way he talks, I love the funny stories he tells, and I love all the boy things he does. One of his favorite things to do is play "honey" in the car with Laura. He gets the keys and they climb in the front seat of Nate's car, buckle in and pretend to be Nate and me. He loves keys, cars, bikes, trucks and fire engines. We are so grateful to have him, even on Sundays during sacrament meeting.
