Right after Laura's birthday we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday. My mom asked me to make the cake (my mom and sister Korinne did the pictures). We went to dinner with just the adults and had a great time. We love you dad!!
And then after my dad's birthday we had a baby shower for my youngest sister Katie. She is the last one to have a baby in our family and we are so excited! My mom also asked me to make the cake for the shower. I was pretty sure when I finished I didn't want to make a cake again for a while, but it was worth it to do it for them. The shower was really fun, I wish I had some pictures because my mom did a fabulous job with everything. We can't wait for baby Hanks to arrive!

Those cakes look awesome!! I dont know how you have the patience to make a cake like that, I would be pulling my hair out! I especially like the one for your dads birthday.
Kara those cakes are AWESOME...I did get to taste the baby shower cake and it was fabulous. I so want to learn how to do this. Where did you learn this? You are amazing....
