Mesa Verde

From Moab, we hit the road again and drove to Mancos, Colorado. We found a bed and breakfast there to stay for a couple nights while we visited Mesa Verde. Janet worked there when she was in college and has been talking about going back there with the grand kids for years. Thanks to Sarah, we got a trip planned and then tacked Goblin Valley and Moab onto it. The place we stayed in Mancos was beautiful! The kids loved that there was a stream in the backyard, a tree house in the front, and the owners had dogs to play with. They could've stayed there the whole time, but, there were other cool things to see. Mesa Verde was really impressive! We got tickets for a couple tours were we got to walk through the ruins. It's amazing to think people actually lived there and raised crops and families there. I'm glad we got to see it.
