On our last day there we decided to drive up the coast to Kennebunkport, Maine. The drive through Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and into Maine was beautiful! We had lunch and did some shopping in Kennebunkport (the town and the Lobster were amazing!) and then drove back down through New Hampshire and up to Vermont to visit Joseph Smith's birth place. It was worth the drive! When we got there and got out of the car, there was music playing in the trees and it felt heavenly. I felt the spirit there and knew it was different than all the other places we had visited for a reason. We were so glad we made the trip to that special place. On our way back to Boston, we stopped to see the Boston Temple. I was sad to see the trip come to an end. We had a really great time together in a very cool part of the country. I flew home Sunday morning and Nate flew to Miami for another conference. I was so grateful for Nate's mom for taking care of our kids while we were gone and I was excited to go home and see them again.
