Christmas

On Christmas Eve we went to my mom's house for a fabulous breakfast and then we went skiing at Alta. We then got cleaned up at the Nelson's and went out to dinner with Janet and Kent and Cameron and Sarah and their family. Afterward we went home and the kids opened their pajamas and got ready for Santa for to come. Megan left him some notes with a bell and string that ran up the laundry shoot to her room. I'm pretty sure she slept though his visit though. Christmas morning was great! I love how excited the kids get and I love to see them get excited about the things they've gotten each other. Josh got all his sisters a bath bomb that he picked out for them. He may have had a little help from his dad, but it was one of my favorite parts about Christmas! Megan didn't waste any time trying hers out. Josh and Nate spent a good part of the day putting together his new 3D printer. It came in probably 1,000 pieces. Megan put some things together herself and curled up next to the fireplace and read the blog book I printed for each of the kids. Lia and Laura used their new curling irons to curl their hair. That night we went to the Nelsons. The kids acted out the nativity, we sang songs, Josh played the guitar, and Lia played the violin. It was a really great day! When we got home, Nate put the new skies on the car where they stayed the rest of the break.
