The trip to New York came about because of a comment I made to my friend Jennifer Fix a couple years ago. She said she had always wanted to go to New York City at Christmas time. So I told her maybe we'd have to go for her 50th birthday which is at the beginning of December. Well, we made it happen with our friends Jennifer Reynolds and Tiffany Shill. Our first day in New York, I got to see where my favorite podcast is made, we went to Carlos Bakery (which was awesome!), walked past FAO Schwarz (the line was WAY too long to go in), had a great dinner, and saw "Dear Even Hansen." We loved the play and loved being in the city!
