Escalante

For spring break we rented a house in Hurricane to golf, mountain bike, and dirt bike and we invited Katie and Scott and their family to come with us. Nate wanted to go down to Escalante also that same week to check out a backpacking trip for Deacons camp. He had been wanting to go down there for years and had watched a lot of videos about it, but he wanted to see it in person and make sure it was doable for the Deacons. We decided to send him down a day early with Megan and the dirt bikes and then we met him in Hurricane. Megan was excited and nervous, but did an awesome job on the hike! Nate was so glad to have her with him. I was so glad too. I didn't want him to go alone and they had a great time together. And they decided it was definitely doable for his camp.
