Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend! We started it off with a ride on the Polar Express (also known as The Heber Valley Railroad). I don't know when I've seen the girls so excited! We went with all of Nate's family which Lia and Laura were thrilled about because that meant they got to go with their cousins Chloe and Sophie. We had a great time! That was followed by dinner at my mom and dad's house on Thursday where my mom made all the kids headbands with their Indian name on it. Thanks mom, that was so cute! We then spent the rest of the night and most of the weekend with Nate's family. Nate's grandfather passed away Wednesday morning following a stroke. We will miss him, but I am so grateful for the life he lived and that he's able to be with those he loves that have already passed on. I appreciate Nate's family so much, along with my own family. We love to be with both our families and are grateful for all they do for us.

And thanks to Nate's jury duty getting canceled, he got to stay home and play in the snow with the girls. They were thrilled!

Fall

On Lia's first day of Kindergarten, she was so ready and so excited! When she waved goodbye, I was really sad to see her go, but I was happy for her too. I knew she was ready. Laura also started preschool. Does she know how to pose or what? She was also very excited.

We took the kids fishing with Kellie and Ian and their family. The kids got extremely dirty, but they had a great time! 

And then came Halloween and all the activities that come with it (Gardner Village, Jed's party, Nelson party, Barson party, preschool party, and the school parade). I've never seen a cuter Tinkerbell, cow, or witch!
