Lia is now a first grader. She likes school and loves walking to and from school with the older kids in our neighborhood (I have to admit I felt bad at first that she was ready to walk without me so soon, but with a new baby and an earlier morning than last year, it is kind of nice). Other than being a little tired with her new schedule, she's doing great. We miss her like crazy though. Laura doesn't know quite what to do with herself and Josh asks throughout the day, "whered Lia go?" I am grateful she's so adaptable to new situations and that she wants to go to school. I'm also grateful she's home a little after 2:00 everyday.
The night before. She wanted her hair in curlers so she'd look extra special for her first day.

cute! She needs to talk to Alexis and tell her how cool curlers are so she can stop looking like a crazy homeless child.
so fun I can't believe our girls are in first grade. we are going through the same thing of Melanie wishing Kaitlyn was home everyday and Matt just wondering why she has to be gone so long. Megan is a beautiful little gal!
Oh, what a cute little first grader! I bet her teacher absolutely loves her. I love her excited hands as she waits to have her picture taken. What a delightful post.
Lots of Love, Aunt Lulu
You know we just love that little Amelia around here! She looks darling and sooo excited. Zach and Brady had fun with your kids the other day. Thanks for letting us come see cute Megan... finally!!! Sorry it took us so long to make it over to see her. Have a great night!
she looks as if she is going to burst with excitement--so cute! i love her dress, i love that there's another mom out there that has their daughter wear a dress on the first day of school.
