Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving again for my family. Only this time it was with my Mom and Steve. And my mom helped us get ready. Everything looked so pretty, but we forgot to take a picture while the tables were set and everyone was there. Oh well. Next time. Nate bought a Traeger and cooked one of the turkeys on it. It was a lot of work, but the turkey turned out fabulous! And I made Janet's famous caramel popcorn. It was a great thanksgiving and great to have almost everyone there. Ryan and Heather were here from Florida, which was awesome. We were just missing Kathie and Mike and their family who weren't able to make it at the last minute.

November

In November, Megan hung out with her friends Hannah and Stella, Lia had an orchestra concert and her mountain biking final banquet, Laura went to see her friend Brooke in the school play, we got to babysit Katie's kids, Megan and Stella and Laura hung out in their animal onsies, and Megan and Nate went to their Jazz game together. Megan was SO excited!

Deacons Campout

Josh and Nate had a cold but fun campout with the deacons out in the desert. I think the best part was the huge bonfire they made (that thankfully didn't get out of control). Josh also loved shooting his potato cannon, driving his traxxas, and shooting guns.

Nelson Jazz Game Night

As an early Christmas present, Nate's parents took all of us out to dinner and to a Jazz game while Darren and Sarah and their family were in town. We went to the Dim Sum house downtown for dinner and then they rented a skybox at the top of the arena for the game. We had a really fun night!

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween! Josh couldn't decide on a costume so Nate came up with an Uncle Drew costume for him. He was a perfect old man. But, we may have been the only ones who knew who he was. Oh well. The kids all went trick or treating with their friends and got together with their friends afterward. It felt a little strange, but we got to have our Halloween dinner together before and Nate and I made our scones and hot chocolate for the neighborhood.
