Mid September

 In the middle of September, we got a new little nephew named Parker, Ashley and Jared's fourth baby. He is such a cutie and the kids were so excited to see him! I checked them out of school a little bit early so we could go see him before our other activities that night. We also had a ward campout where Megan played on the playground while Nate and Josh and Lia did some mountain biking. And we played with cousins at Grandma Nelson's house and the Curiosity Museum. Next, Josh earned his Arrow of Light to officially end his time in Cub Scouts. And then Nate and I got to meet Mitt Romney and John Curtis at a fundraising event at Nate's boss's house. I was really impressed with both of them. Mitt was running for the U.S. Senate and John Curtis was running for the U.S. House of Representatives. They both won. And finally, Lia and her friend Camilla brought over Camilla's dog to try to convince me, once again, that we need a dog. So far it's not working.
