Nate and Lia's Backpacking Trip

 Lia had been wanting to go backpacking for forever before this trip. She asked for a backpack for Christmas and hiking boots for her birthday. When we finally found a weekend she and Nate could go, she was so excited! They hiked to Silver Lake up American Fork Canyon. They had a great time! When she told me later some of the things they talked about, I was even more grateful for Nate than I normally am. They talked about the restoration and Joseph Smith and other testimony building things like that. And, they had fun camping. I am so proud of Lia for her adventurous spirit and I'm so glad she loves to be with her dad!
