End of March

As the weeks went on, we realized school was not coming back anytime soon. So we tried to make the best of it. The kids spent lots of time with Ollie (which I loved!), we got deliveries at the door from Lia's friends and in the mail from Luann, we set up a make shift office for Nate upstairs when his office closed and he started working from home full time, we held exercise class in the family room, Laura started the first of many puzzles, Nate made beef jerky, and we dropped off some food at my nephew Spencer's apartment. Missionaries were being sent home all over the world because of the pandemic. Alyson and Brady both came home. But Spencer stayed in his mission in South Salt Lake. He was having a hard time being stuck in his apartment and not being able to do normal missionary work. So we surprised him and stopped by. Technically we are not in his mission so it was kind of against the rules, but we were living in strange times. Laura made sure to continue their game of tag by tagging him with an ice scraper she found in the car. It was so great to see Spencer and hopefully we brightened his day a little bit.
