From Mont-Saint-Michel, we drove to Normandy where we stayed for a couple of days. The drive there was beautiful! And we happened to plan our visit on the anniversary of D-Day. So there were re-creations of what life was like during WW11 and celebrations of the war ending everywhere you looked. It was very cool. Nate was especially excited and emotional to see it all. His Grandpa Earl landed at Normandy a few days after D-Day.
