Lia's first area in Minga Guazu was a great place to start her mission. She loved the other missionaries she served with, it was a beautiful area, and there was a lot of work to do there. It had its hard moments though too...with her blond hair and fair skin, she felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb. And it's not always easy being the new girl. But she found her place and thrived there.
