Over Memorial Day weekend while Laura was at Lake Powell with her friends, we took Megan and Josh to Idaho. Josh and Nate fished and Megan and I mountain biked. We also golfed where we were reminded that Josh doesn't love to golf and Megan discovered that she does like to golf. Next, Megan got a new outfit and her first debit card, and she and her friends Caroline and Samara tried dying their hair pink. Josh also worked on his car with Joseph, we spent time with the Nelsons, Nate went to Atlanta and a Brave's game on a work trip and golfed in a tournament with his friends from work, Laura started her new job at Quick Quack Car Wash, and I dropped Megan off at girls camp. Last and probably least, Josh and I went to Helaman's Camp. It's a stake camp for all the priest age boys in the stake. I went to get some ideas for the camp I'd help plan the next summer for the oldest young women in the stake. It was painful for Josh. He didn't want to go, he had a hurt knee which made it hard to do some of the activities, and other than Laura's friends who are also Josh's friends, he's not friends with the boys in our ward and stake. He did it and stayed and I accomplished my purpose for being there, but it was hard.
