On Megan's actual birthday, she got an electric scooter (purple--her favorite color) and a gift card to Build-a-Bear where she'd been wanting to go for months. She also had a water party with her friends. She was so cute and so excited about everything! Megan is such a joy in our family. I love her enthusiasm and excitement and, as Nate and I have talked about a lot, her "littleness." I'm trying to savor the funny ways she still says some things, the way she still loves to play with babies, the things she looks forward to and even the things that upset her. She's growing up so fast, just like her older brother and sisters, and I don't want to miss anything. Megan loves to play with her friends and play with babies. She also loves swimming and jumping rope (that's her latest new thing--she always has a jump rope with her and wants to show me some new thing she's learned). She's becoming a better reader and writer and likes to write notes and color. We love her hugs and kisses! She is a sweetheart and we are so thankful for her!

Megan is so sweet! I'll always remember visiting you in the hospital and holding her as a brand new baby and realizing I wanted another one of those. So Ryan thanks Megan for his existence!
