Lia's first Christmas in the mission was harder than she thought it was going to be. Some of their plans fell through and it was hard talking to us and realizing what she was missing. But, a day or two after Christmas, the mission had their Christmas party and it was a lot of fun. And when it was over and life went back to normal, it was easier to see how in the grand scheme of things, although we missed each other, it was also okay.
