After Christmas we went down to Southern California to see the University of Utah play in the Rose Bowl. We went with Janet and Kent and Ashley and Jared and their family. It was a little cold and rainy, but it was fun. Megan and Ashley's kids were brave enough to play at the beach right outside the door where we were staying. We celebrated New Year's while we were there by going to dinner and playing games. We also went to see some tide pools. I tried to recreate a picture I took of Josh and Nate in the same place years ago. The game itself was long and cold, and Josh (who isn't a big football fan) was feeling terrible, but he and the girls were good sports. We decided it's probably not something we need to do again, but it was fun to go once.
