Josh's baptism day was a really, really great day. He was so excited! Watching him and Nate get ready that morning was one of the sweetest interactions I've ever witnessed between the two of them. Josh wanted everything just like Nate's, even down to his shoes. And he started out trying to do everything on his own, but he recognized that he needed Nate's help. It started off the day in such a special way. I told myself that if things didn't go as smoothly as I wanted the rest of the day, it didn't matter. The rest of the day did go smoothly though, thankfully. My mom was out of town, but my dad came along with most of Kellie, Kristen, Korinne and Katie's families and all of Nate's family, including Cameron and Sarah and their family. Lia and Megan gave a really sweet talk together (the fact that Josh asked Megan to give a talk made my whole year!), Laura said a prayer, and the cousins all sang "When I am baptized." We had a luncheon afterward at our house, which was fun because most of our family had not been to our new house yet. Josh had a great time putting together some of his new presents with his cousins all afternoon. The only hitch was we didn't get any pictures of Nate and Josh in their white clothes at the church, so we re-created them at home a couple weeks later.
