Lia's 6th Grade graduation was a great night! She looked so pretty and was so excited to be with her friends. Nate and I were excited because we knew she was getting an award that she didn't know about. She was given the "Hope of America" award. Only she and a few other students received that award. We were so proud of her and not one bit surprised her teachers decided to include her among the recipients. She also had a mural she drew for the school displayed that night for the first time. She entered a contest to design a mural that represented the school's theme and she won! It will be permanently hung at Fox Hollow. Her friends and classmates helped color it and signed their names, but Lia designed and drew it. My mom and Steve came and Nate's mom and dad came. And we of course went and got ice cream after. It was a great way to end the year and our time at Fox Hollow!
