Mid December

Josh decided he wanted an electric guitar for Christmas so we went to check them out to make sure that's what he wanted to ask Santa for. Josh and Nate also went to a BYU basketball game. When I asked him if he wanted to go, he ran right upstairs, got his BYU hat and a jacket and was back down in about 10 seconds. Josh then had a solo role in a musical number at our ward Christmas party. Occasionally Josh likes to pretend like he's singing opera. On our way to the Christmas party that night, Nate literally told him "no opera" (along with use good manners, no craziness, etc, etc, to all the kids). Little did we know he'd have a chance to sing in his "opera" voice when our family and a few others had to do a rendition of "Angels We Have Heard on High" at the party. Josh sang the "gloria" part all by himself and stole the show! And we kicked off the ski season first with just Nate and me and then with the whole family. They were so excited to go and excited to be skiing at a new resort this year.
