Megan wrote on a paper for school that one of her favorite things to do with her dad is go to Smash Burger. We'd been there as a family, but the two of them had never been there. So for weeks Nate had been wanting to take her there. And for weeks she'd been reminding him to take her there. In December they finally found a night that they could go. Megan was so excited and so cute about it! After dinner and a milkshake, they went and saw the reindeer at Thanksgiving Point. I think it was the highlight of Megan's year! I'm pretty sure it made Nate's year too that she wanted so much to go with just him. When Megan was in kindergarten and preschool, she and I got to spend a lot of time with just the two of us, but Nate doesn't get to do that very often. We were reminded again how important the one on one time is.
